Thermo Receives Frost & Sullivan Honour
Thermo Electron Corp. (Waltham, MA) was been awarded the 2005 Frost & Sullivan Award for Market Leadership, presented annually by global consulting firm Frost & Sullivan Inc. (Palo Alto, CA) to a company that demonstrates leadership through a market strategy.
Selected for its analysis titled The U.S. Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Market, Thermo received the honour last month for having a 22% share of the U.S. LIMS market, according to Frost.
Thermo strengthened its position in the LIMS market in 2004 when it acquired InnaPhase Corp.
