Five to choose from.
Instrument supplier Mettler-Toledo International Inc. (Columbus, OH) will be announcing the winner of its 2006 Food Science Grant at the Institute of Food Technologists (Chicago, IL) annual meeting being held in June.
The grant program is awarded to an educational institute in Canada or the U.S. that provides education up to the PhD level and features classes in food science. The award package consists of analytical equipment and accessories, and is therefore determined according to the needs of the institute applying for the grant. Its estimated value is approximately $60,000 US.
This will mark the second year that the annual award will be handed out. Last year’s winner was University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Urbana, IL) researcher Faye Dong, PhD.
Mettler is accepting applications for the grant until April 30.
