Agilent Extends Program to Cancer Researchers

In an effort to help the U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI) achieve its goal of eliminating cancer-related suffering and death by 2015, Agilent Technologies Inc. (Palo Alto, CA) has extended its technology access program to NCI researchers.
The agreement covers access to Agilent’s microarray solutions for comparative genomic hybridization, ChIP-on-chip — a microarray application for determining where proteins bind to regulatory regions of DNA — and gene expression. The deal also covers Agilent reagents, catalogues, instruments and software.
The NCI is part of the National Institutes of Health, and is the U.S. government’s principle agency for cancer research and training.
